This week I went to Waco, TX to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary with my sweet husband Ben, after renewing our vows in Tennessee. When Ben asked where I wanted to celebrate this milestone, only one destination came to mind. Without hesitation I said "Magnolia!" 
Fixer Upper has always been one of my favorite TV shows, so this was a dream come true for me. It was worth every penny we spent and every mile we drove from Nashville!
The airbnb cottage we stayed in was adorable and cozy. We watched Christmas movies (yes, I know it's almost summer), drank coffee from the Magnolia coffeehouse, wore our comfy robes, and talked for hours!
Conversation is very important to me. We had plenty of time to share our heart’s and future dreams together.
When life gets busy we tend to let those things slip through the cracks. Too often we don’t take enough time to talk about it.
I want to be intentional with my thoughts and dreams. We love to explore those ideas and put them on paper to see how we can set out to accomplish those desires and make it happen.
The time we spent in the cottage will always be my favorite part of the trip because of these intentional conversations.
We had so much fun exploring the area and enjoying each other’s company.
After shopping at the Magnolia home store and finding some super cute things to take home, I grabbed the most delicious strawberry cupcake at the Silos Baking Co.
Ben had the peanut butter cookie. He said, "This is worth breaking my diet over!"
Needless to say, my time in Waco was everything I hoped for and more. I believe with all my heart that it’s important to live every minute like it’s your last.
You never know what life will bring, so enjoy it to the fullest, explore new and exciting adventures!
